    this site has been very helpful to me!

    can i use admit/confess in the following sentences?

    i admitted/confessed the crime.

    i admitted/confessed to the crime. " since both are intransitive verbs also"

    i admitted/confessed stealing the money.

    i admitted/confessed to stealing the money.

    i admitted/confessed stealing the money.

    i admitted/confessed to stealing the money. You can use infinitive here 'to steal'
