    over? and demagogue

    1. I would like to change over to IE6 to IE7? should the preposition 'over' aptly used in the sentence?

    2. After going through a dictionary for various meanins of Demagogue, i'm quite apprehensive in using it as its meaning includes some negativity. Can it be used in an absolute positive way?

the above part in bold is correctly constructed without any chance for possible ambiguities in meaning?

thanks in advance for your response

    1. 'Over' is ok, but it's "over from x to y".
    2. Yes it's ok.

Yes you can. No, 'over' is not necessary for the meaning, I probably wouldn't use it..

I would say not - for me it is a very negative term. You might like to look up the Wikipedia article.
