    Help Me settle a bet....



    Which is the proper sentence.

    I am pregnant with my daughter.
    or
    I am pregnant to my daughter.


    Please settle this bet for me. Thanks

    Women can be "with child", i.e. pregnant.

    If a mother knows the sex of the child in the womb, she might say:

    I am pregnant with my daughter.

    or

    I am pregnant with a daughter.
