    The first one doesn't make much sense- get us could mean collect us, but then till is wrong.

    The second is incomplete; in the original, you'll find that there was a verb and sneaking is functioning as the subject of that verb. When one verb becomes the subject of another, we use the gerund, made by adding -ing:
    Smoking is bad for you.
    The main verb- is
    Subject - smoking
