How do I tell if a word is a demonstrative pronoun or a demonstrator?
Eg. People may say (that), with his skills, he would dominate the competition. (that is a demonstrator???? or demonstrative pronoun!!)
Eg. Some may say (that) he truly deserved the Oscar for his acting.
When the word 'that' serves a nominal function (e.g. as sentence subject), it is termed a demonstrative pronoun, as in
That is a good way to do it.
