    Question Check this sentence

    Hi,

Please check this sentence, whether it is right or wrong and what would be the correct form.

I was highly drunk, so I somehow stumbeled the scooter.

    Thanks

Do you mean "crashed the scooter"?

I would not use "highly" with "drunk". It's not incorrect in a structural way, but I don't think that "highly" collocates with "drunk" very well. It doesn't sound at all typical or usual to me.

Here's one way to say what I think you want to say here.

I was incredibly drunk, but I somehow managed to stumble to my scooter and drive home.

Be careful about riding a scooter while drunk. I don't think it's safe.
