    hi,

    which preposition is correct in the following sentences

    how are you making out "on"your test.


    or

    how are you making out "in" your test.

    Can 'making out' be used in this type of sentence? I would not use it personally but I am no expert and I could be wrong We will have to wait for someone else to comment on this.

    If you are talking to someone during their test (while they are doing it) you could use that sentence with either preposition. If you are asking after the test, the sentence is not appropriate.
