    Them or Those

    Good Morning,

    I recently read an article that said, "I loved them kids, "Bellamy said. Should that have been, "I loved those kids?"

    I'm not a teacher, but I think "I loved them kids" is dialect. In other words, it's not standard English, but may be acceptable in certain contexts.

    Yes, using "them" is wrong in that sentence. The correct sentence is "I loved those kids".

    Though in informal English it is quite common, either because the speaker does not know the correct form or because the speaker is being facetious.
