    Wink Sentence transformation and filling exercises

    Hi everyone!
    I have some exercises that I've been struggling with for several days. And I really need your help:

    1) Rewrite the sentences, using the word given:
    Luckily Peter didn't pay a fine. (paying)
    --> Luckily Peter.................................a fine.

    2) Choose the suitable word to fill in the blank:
    Do you..............................to know when this castle was built?
    (ask, happen, imagine, like)

    3) Sentence transformation:
    It's very kind of you to give me a lift.
    --> I appreciate........................................ ....................

    4) Put 1 suitable word in each space:
    a. As soon as Anne finished telling the joke, everyone burst out..........
    b. It...............that we won't need to pay so much after all.
    c. We...............to split the cost of all the bills.

    Thanks in advance.
