The time has arrived to bid a goodbye to all my colleagues.

    It was almost perfect.

    1. The time has come to bid goodbye/ farewell to all my colleagues.
    2. The time has neared to bid goodbye/ farewell to all my colleagues. (not sure)

Which will be more appropriate, "time has come" or "time has arrived" ?

Both would fit okay but I'd prefer "The time has come". It's up to you anup

    Good luck!

    Dear anupumh:

Both are correct, but the time has come is more common (to my American ears).

Consider this stanza from Lewis Carroll's The Walrus and the Carpenter:

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
    "To talk of many things:
    Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
    Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
    And whether pigs have wings."

    Best wishes,

    Petra
