    Re: so do i

You can use So (do, am, etc) to agree with a positive statement, and Neither/Nor (do, am, etc) to agree with a negative one.
    A: I like coffee.
    B: So do I.
    A: I donít like coffee.
    B: Neither/Nor do I.

You can use I (donít, am not, etc) to disagree with a positive statement, and I (do, am, etc) to disagree with a negative one.
    A: I like coffee.
    B: I donít.
    A: I donít like coffee.
    B: I do.

    More examples:
A: Iím not sure about that.
    B: Neither am I. / I am.

A: Weíve got over 50 TV channels.
B: So have we. / We havenít.

A: I wouldnít say that papers were irrelevant.
    B: Nor would I. / I would.

    That's a good thorough answer.
But rather than 'agreeing', you're actually saying that it applies to you too.
[I know you know that; the OP mightn't]
    A: I like coffee.
B: So do I. (Yes, I like coffee too).

    5.either do i is wrong.
