    Use of ANY

I have recently come across the following sentence without 'ANY'. Is it equally correct? Personally, I would have used it...

'Sorry, we don't sell (ANY) stamps.'

    Kindly enlighten....

In addressing the question of correctness, in a word, yes, it's correct. It's just as equally correct to say "we don't sell any stamps" as it is to say "we don't sell stamps".
