Do you think the following sentences are a fact or opinion? I think both sentences are opinion. If you don't agree, tell me why. Also, if possible can you please explain what each sentence means exactly?
1.Paradoxically, the belief that universal schooling is absolutely necessary is most firmly head in those countries where the fewest people have been- and will be-served by schools.
2.The university graduate has been schooled for selective service among the rich of the world.
The first is not an opinion, if true. It says "belief X is held most strongly in location Y." Note that you have "head" instead of "held". You can compare it to "Garlic is eaten in Korea," which is a fact.
Also, I don't understand what you mean by "selective service" although I can see the second sentence is an opinion.
