    a/the

    Hi guys!

When would you put either "a" or "the" before the day of the week?

For example: "Let's go there on a Sunday" and "Let's go there on the Sunday".

    Thanks

If you were going on holiday to a place, for a week for example, you might say, about visiting a monument etc. "Let's go there on the Sunday" referring to the specific Sunday that you would be in that place.
If there was a place that you wanted to visit, with no particular date in mind, you might say "Let's go there on a Sunday" as opposed to any other day of the week.

    Hi

So what would it mean if I said: Let's go there on Sunday (without "a" or "the")?
