    extramural

    Hi

I'm an extramural student. (it means that someone studies, for example twice a month)

How to say/call someone who studies regularly by day?

    cheers

    Re: extramural

An extramural student is one who is not a member of the educational body [university/college - whatever] but who has signed of for a particular course of study.

A day student is one who comes in daily to a college to study.

    Hi

So, if I said: "I study daily" that would mean that I am a day student?

    Re: extramural

So, could we call a day student 'full time student'? Is there such thing as 'part time student'?

    Re: extramural

Where I live, a "day student" is someone who doesn't live on campus, but who commutes instead.

Yes, you can be a part-time student. It's typical in the US for the cut-off to be 12 credit hours. 12 or more is full time, fewer than 12 is part time.
