In BrE womans wallet is called a 'purse'. What is it called in other English spoken countries? Is it the same?

    Re: Purse

A purse is used for carrying coins; a wallet is used for carrying currency notes and/or cards. Sonmetimes wallets have purses built into them and these are usually called purses.
