    as fast as..

When it started raining, we all ran inside as fast as we could.

Could you please let me know what parts of speech is each word in the part in bold?

    Re: as fast as..

"Inside" is an adverb describing where you ran to.

    Hello here is the French,

'as fast as' is the comparative form of adjective. '
Example: My sister is as tall as me.

    Have a nice day.

    Ive found this:

AS FAST AS: This conjunctional phrase means do an action at maximum speed possible'.
    Example:

    i. Before your annual examinations complete all your lessons AS FAST AS you can.

ii. Please cook the food AS FAST AS you can so that I can reach my office in time.
