    I have been seeing this lovely young lady for a short while and would like to prepare a meal.
    is this sentence correct?

    Gramatically, your sentence is correct, however, it would be better if you insert the red.

    I am not a teacher........................ would you like to prepare a meal for me also?????? I'm tired of cooking!
