    Of Where

I have no more idea than you have of where I was born.

Could you explain of where here?

"Where I was born" = "the place in which I was born".

Can I reword the sentence into "I know less well of where I was born than you do"?

No, you could say "I know less well than you do where I was born" but it's a bit convoluted.

I know less well than you do where I was born.

Can I reword this sentence into "I know my birthplace less well than you do"?
