    US informal + somewhat old-fashioned : very funny and enjoyable
    ▪ The ads say the movie will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

    Don't you normally omit full?

    Yes, normally "full" is omitted. I have never seen it written with "full".

    Yuppers, 'full' is normally excluded.
