    sentence transformations, help!

I am reading a book that is supposed to teach how to write well and I have a problem with one example:

How can we change incorrect sentence:

Being young and rich he wasn't happy because of family tensions.
    My examples:

Although he was young and rich he wasn't happy...............
Although rich and young, he wasn't happy.......................
Though he was rich and young, he wasn't happy...............
Though rich and young, he wasn't happy.......................
Rich and young as he was, he wasn't happy......................
Despite being young and rich he wasn't happy................
However he was young and rich, he wasn't happy............
While he was young and rich, he wasn't happy...............

Are all these examples correct? Which ones are the most elegant or common?

All right, so there is no difference between though and although whatsoever?

Though young and beautiful = Although young and beautiful?

Though she was rich she wasn't happy = Althought she was rich she wasn't happy?

    Thank you!
