    a bit confusing

    which one is accurate "you know yourself better" or "you know better yourself" or "you better know your self" does it affect the grammar or the meaning of sentence? i think we can use any one of them and they are just different styles of speaking depends on situation. Thanks.

    Changing the word order changes the meaning in this case.


    "you know yourself better" - You understand yourself better.

    "you know better yourself" - You're smarter. So you know better. - This would be better if it were supported with some context.

    "you better know your self" - You had better know yourself. You really should.
