    refuse/judgement/flee/create/beat all creation/session

    Dear teachers,

    Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am on the right track by the interpretation of the expressions in bold in the following sentences?

    1. The cinema owners have the right to refuse admission to anyone under eighteen years of age.
    2. He refused them nothing.
    3. Brakes refused to act.
    4. She refused to see him.
    5. Too proud to ask, too humble to refuse.
    refuse = to indicate unwillingness to do, accept, give, or allow
    6. He showed excellent judgment in choosing the wine.
    7. She always exercises good judgment.
    judgment= the capacity to form an opinion by distinguishing and evaluating
    8. I repeat my judgment that he was to blame.
    judgment= the capacity to assess situations or circumstances and draw sound conclusions
    9. Life had fled.
    10. The enemy fled in disorder.
    11, The clouds fled before the wind.
    12. He killed his enemy and fled the country.
    flee , fled = to pass swiftly away; vanish
    13. His behavior created a bad impression.
    create = to cause to exist; bring into being
    14. You needn’t create about it.
    create about = be angry, be cross
    15. That beat all creation.
    16. That licks everything.
    licks everything = beat all creation
    17. The women were wearing the newest creations of the Paris designers.
    18. He had quite a session with the policeman.
    session = dispute
