    Post My apetite is lessened

    Hi,

    Is it appropriate to say...?

    My apetite is lessened.

Would a native speaker use this construction for his reduced apetite?

    Thanks

I'm not so hungry is what a native speaker would most likely say.

It depends on what the speaker is actually saying - i.e. the cause of the lessening of the appetite.

I am put off my food (when you sit down opposite me).
I'm not as hungry as I was. (now that I've eaten a hamburger)
I don't get as hungry as I used to.
(now that I'm on diet pills)
