    So it is also correct to say either: You look like she OR You look like her.

    I guess it's about Old English versus Modern English, where you are prescribed to use nominative forms in the case of the first one.

    strange. I would say that "she" is also correct. You look like she (looks).

    Well, I guess it is possible to say so, but only in a colloquial fashion. Like is a preposition, and as such is followed by the objective case.

    Because I would say: You have to be better than they ARE instead of You have to be better than them ARE.
