    Post Usage of commited

    Hi,

What does commited mean, in the below construction?

    I am commited to him

(John has given me a lot of work/assignments, thus I am very occupied and cant work for anyone else)

To convey this thought can we use commited?

    I am commited to John.

    Thanks

    Re: Usage of commited

Yes, but we'd probably use loyal or dedicated, because committed implies a social relationship -- such as love, boyfriend/girlfriend, fiancÚs, etc.
