    ET point of view?

    Hello Everyone,

What does ET point of view mean in the following paragraph, and what does it refer to ?

Virtually every Apollo astronaut came back with a deep sense of the Earth’s fragility. Ed Mitchell, Moonwalker No 6: “When we see ourselves in this bigger perspective — call it the ET point of view, the God point of view --a shift takes place in your perception and you start to think quite differently.”

    Regards

    Sky

ET would generally mean "extra-terrestrial". I think that's what it means here, but Mitchell is not being very expressive.

Yes, he is having trouble explaining what he means - no doubt because we do not have a commonly acceptable way to explain the feeling that one gets from walking on the moon.
