    Q2: Any difference? Could be. #2 is more a normal neutral asking about one's life experience. #1 could be used as checking question, with a meaning sort of like,

    Have you really been on TV?

    It could, of course, also be used to ask about one;s life.

    I could add that the former supposes a greater expectation that the person may have been on TV, whereas the latter supposes little or no expectation they have.
