    Question Outlining VS Designing... which is the best one?

    I am writing a description of my current role and I am not sure which word sounds better:

    Outlining all the Business Processes determining efforts and costs;

    OR

    Designing all the Business Processes determining efforts and costs;

    I believe that outlining means to give a description of something which already exist, otherwise designing means to draw something from scratch (almost inventing). Is it correct?

    Yes, you're correct.

    If you outline the processes, you are giving a capsule description of them.

    If you design the processes, you are creating them.
