    correct my sentence...

    Hello everybody

This is my first post here and I would appreciate if somebody could correct my sentence.

"I am gradually getting used to the fact that if something is said that will be done at a certain date turns out to be done either anyhow or not done at all"

If somebody could make a british version out of it, would be great :)

    Thank you
    Alex

It is ambiguous as it stands, and I can't make out what is meant exactly.

    Re: correct my sentence...

    Oh, ok.
I would like to say that I am forced to get used to the fact that if i ask someone (e.g. inmy company) to do something and i wish it to be done by xxx date it will either be done carelessly or will not be done at all.

I just wanted to sum up all that in one sentence.

    Thanks
    Alex

Whenever I give a deadline, people rush their work.

I'm gradually accustoming myself to the fact that if something is to be done by a certain date, it will either be done badly or not at all.
