    Has and had?

    Hi to all,

    Could anyone explain to me when do i have to used "has" and when have to used "had"?

    what is the difference between
    He has gone.
    He had gone

    Where is Peter? He has gone to the shop. (He is at the shop now)

    I went to see Peter yesterday but he had gone to the shop. (He was at the shop)
