Going to go and Going to come

Is the usage of Going to go and Going to come correct?
I read somewhere that is it incorrect to add "go" and "come" after "going to". However since we do come across this usage, this doubt came about.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Going to go and Going to come

Well, a quick Google search for "going to go" returned over 1,500 million hits...

I don't see anything wrong with the usage. "going to" in this construction has been bleached of any sense of "going" (in fact one can say "I'm going to stay right here without moving").

Though possibly some people don't like it as a matter of style.
