    play?

If I go to amusement park with friends to go on rides, is it ok to say " I played with them at amusement park." Or is there a better expression?

    Re: play?

If I go to amusement park with friends
If I go to AN amusement park with friends
If I go to THE amusement park with friends

    to go on rides,
    to go on the rides

is it ok to say " I played with them at amusement park."
is it ok to say, "I played with them at the amusement park."

Or is there a better expression?

I don't think we'd say that you "played with them."

For one thing, we don't describe going on the rides as "playing."

I think saying, "I went to the (or "an") amusement park with friends" is perfect just as it is. Everyone knows what kind of things you do at amusement parks, so there's very little utility in searching for a way to describe it.

For another thing, "to play with" others has a couple of meanings, but in this case, the meaning is to engage in a mutual game; the expression is not used to indicate "having fun at the same location."
    - "I played chess with my friend."
    - "The little girls played house."
    - "The kids played baseball."
    - "I played Frisbee with my friends at the park."
    - "Sally always wants to play with Maryanne. They are best friends."
