    Cool right hand side

    Hi there,

Can we say: "the button is on the right of the dress".

Is it better to say "the button is on the right hand side of the dress?"

If yes, is the first one wrong?

    Thanks

    W

I think if you use the first form the button may be even outside the dress, I mean to the right of it but not necessarily within the dress.

Therefore I prefer the second construction.
