    2. I searched some forum for journalist in UK only. Are there any serving for world-wide like UsingEnglish.com?
    3. BTW, can I post my article draft in 900 words for comment/suggestion before submitting to the editor?
    4. Are there websites/forum open for all international journalist to exchange idea/opinion of writing articles?

    Re: journalist

Can't you use the UK forums for comments on the text? I saw one had a section for journalism students and people starting out.
    3 Yes, you can.
5 A journalist doesn't have to be a reporter- a columnist or a commentator is a journalist, but not a reporter.

    URGENT

Tdol & all friends in UsingEnglish.com,

I am going to host an interview with my interviewee tomorrow.

    1. Then would you tell me that UK forum that you saw?
    2. For editing my work of 900-word, shall I just simply post on UsingEnglish.com or look for the particular UK forum for journalism?
    3. Before I write for the article of a particular topic after interview, are there resources from website/advice from you to take reference from eg. the style, useful phrases, strap line, pieces of sample writing.....(I won't copy but just for references)?
    4. Before I attend the interview with my interviewee, are there websites I can look for the appropriate/beautiful phrases for the questions being raised in English?
    5. Can I put a equal sign in terms of the functions and job natures among 'columnist, commentator and journalist'?
    6. Shall I say 'columnist, commentator and journalist' are under the catagory of 'reporter', in other words, the job nature of a 'reporte'r including those of a 'columnist, commentator and journalist'?
    7. For the situation that I host an interview with my interviewee, shall I say :
    a) "I hosted / conducted an interview with Tom
    Johnson, CEO of ABC Company."
    b) any other suggestion to express the meaning of
    sentence 7a)?

    8) For the situaion that an interviewee receive the
interview from the journalist, shall I say :

    a) Mr. Tom Johnson, the CEO of ABC company give an
    interview to the journalist.
    b) any other better ways to express the meaning of
    sentence 8a) ?
