    Strange grammar

    Hello,
I found this phrase in one song: 'I will love until my heart it aches'. For me it sounds odd. What do you think?

    Re: Strange grammar

There's no grammatical reason for the "it" and as prose, it's incorrect, but there may have been a poetic or musical reason for it. That's why you should never use song lyrics for examples of fine grammar, nor assume that the grammar in songs is correct.
