    Question get mad

    Hi everyone,

I have heard an American say 'don't be mad', but what is exactly the meaning.

I thought that is as to be angry, but maybe I am wrong.

I believe some of you know the answer, thank in advance for your reply.

    Have a sunny day.

It means don't be angry or upset about what I am about to say.
Example: Don't be mad, but I just wrecked your new car.
