I need a vocab that has...

    Dear teachers,

I ran into a English learning website, and learnt a new vocabulary there which has the meanings like tiring and repeating,
but I have forgotten how to spell it.

The vocabulary is suitable for the following example:
    Peter owns two cars.
He says that washing the cars by himself is tiring,
but he has to do the same thing repeatedly every weekend.

    Could you help please, teachers?

    Thank you.

    Kitty
