    in order

    Hello,

Could anyone explain to me what "in order" means in the sentence below?

"An outside review of Citigroup's management team concluded that it is generally in good shape but that some shuffling of senior executives might be in order."

    Thank you

It means; in general the organisation is doing well but some changes at the senior level will be appropriate to have still better understaning, coordination and efficient functioning of the management team.

If something is in order, it is necessary, required, needed
If something "might be" in order, it a good idea, recommended.
