    Logos are visual images.

As for a slogan: " Home cooking to eat in or take away".

Catchy slogans tend to be local. Some things you need to consider are: Where is the restaurant? (city, country, suburban ...). Who are your prospective customers? What sort of language do they speak? Is it a high class a la carte restaurant, or a no frills pizza joint?
Anglika's suggestion is very safe, if not catchy.
You need to use different bait to catch different fish.

PS: If you're serving high class French cuisine, probably don't use anything like "Finger-lickin' good!"

I think "The Family Table" is the name of the restaurant

    The Family Table
    Eat In or Take Out

I think "take away" is British, while "take out" is US.

Every time my father saw a sign saying "Eat here or take away," he would say, "I hope to do both!"

My mother and I loyally cracked up every time he said it.
