Smile Saying "Good catch" to one who spots an error in my blog

Sometimes, I wrote blogs in English. Before posting a blog, I always proofread the content a couple of times.

If someone still spotted an error in my blog, can I say "Good catch!" to him/her?

    Best Wishes,

    Best Wishes,

    Absolutely.

It is a great thing to say.

It flatters the person who caught the mistake, and it also suggests that you are grateful for his help.

    ------------------------------------

I never came across the book itself, but I read a reference to it - a book called "Easy Tips for Non-Sexist Writing" or something like that.

Just reading the title informed me that there are graceful ways to avoid gender-specific nouns and pronouns, and that only a few seconds of thought will suffice to avoid having to say "to him/her."

    1) You can change the person referred to into "people." In this case, your sentence would be
    not:
If someone still spotted an error in my blog, can I say "Good catch!" to him/her?
    but
When people still spot errors in my blog, can I say "Good catch" to them?

    2) You can just delete the "to him/her" phrase as unnecessary, like this:
If someone still spotted an error in my blog, can I reply with "Good catch!" ?
