    sentence formation

    Hi,

    I work in a call center my question is which is the correct sentence.

    after palcing the customer on hold i get back to the customer saying

    1) I am sorry to have kept you waiting.

    Is this above sentence worng because my quality analyst says that its wrong and it should be

    2) I am sorry to keep you waiting ..

    Help me

    Both are equally used. From my personal experience QAs know nothing about communication and grammar, their only job is to point out unnecessary mistakes to exert their dominance. Consult the V&A trainer in your BPO for your queries and doubts on grammar and language.
