I work in a call center my question is which is the correct sentence.
after palcing the customer on hold i get back to the customer saying
1) I am sorry to have kept you waiting.
Is this above sentence worng because my quality analyst says that its wrong and it should be
2) I am sorry to keep you waiting ..
Some Standard Phrases:
After coming back from hold...
Thanking for being on hold, I appreciate your patience.
I am sorry for the long hold, I appreciate your patience.
