    The keys are correct:
    1) As you will be the last person to leave the bureau, please remember to turn off the lights when you are finished.
    2) The secretary of defense announced on Monday night that Mr. Rove remembered meeting Abramoff at a 1990s political meeting and considered the lobbyist a "casual acquaintance" since President Bush took office in 2001.

    The verb remember does not take gerund? Why not remember turning off ?
