    every/any

1-They can recommend you a book for every mood.
2-They can recommend you a book for any mood.

Can't these sentences have two meanings:
a-There is one book that is good for all moods and they can recommend it to you. (unlikely but possible)
b-They can recommend you a book for each mood.
    -----------------------------------------

3-They have books for every mood.
4-They have books for any mood.

a-There are books that are good for all moods and they can recommend them to you. (unlikely but possible)
b-They can recommend you books for each mood.

1 It could also mean that they will recommend a number of books (one per mood) or one book (the mood requested)

    Thanks Tdol,

It had been quite a while.

I hadn't thought of the possibility that you mention!! Actually, it took me a while to figure out what you meant!! I feel bad now!!

But you are doing a great job as usual.

    Cheers!

I could have phrased it better- it's a bit of a strain to read.
