What is wrong with this sentence?

It is a wet, cloudy day and I am chilled by the mist of rain and lack of sunshine as I sit in an old, dingy, dust covered, John Deere lawn chair in the back of the barn.

Besides style issues which could be the subject of debate, there should be a hyphen between "dust" and "covered."

It is a wet, cloudy day and I am chilled by the mist of rain and lack of sunshine as I sit in an old, dingy, dust-covered, John Deere lawn chair in the back of the barn.

In addition, "wet" and "mist of rain" are pretty much the same thing, as are "cloudy" and "lack of sunshine."

And what is "mist of rain" anyway? Is it "mist"?

Does John Deere make lawn chairs?

I'm not so crazy about that comma after "dust-covered" either.

Do we need any of those commas between adjectives.

    Hmmm... good point. Maybe not.
