    Are they correct ?


    Please,

    Are te sentences correct ?

    1) . Marco’s going shopping = Marco is going to shop

    2) . I am going to do = I am going doing

    If not, why ?

    the second one is completely wrong, because i am going is always followed by an infinitive.
    it has to be "i am going to do (e.g. the dishes)
    the first one can be used

    I am going fishing.
    I am going home.
    I am going down to the pub.

    that's true but i meant when follow by to do it's always an inf.
