What is correct if one is asking someone to "continue reading". Is it : "please continue to read", or is it "please continue reading" ? Or are both possible ?

If the person is reading right now, use "please continue reading". If you want to give advice about reading in general, in other words if you want to tell the person to make reading a habit in their life, you could say "please continue to read".
