    from the film "Wall Street" by Oliver Stone 197

    In the sentence " Wait for it to head south, then we'll raise the sperm count on the deal", which is the meaning of the expression underlined (I haven't found anywhere)?

    Taken entirely out of context (as I have not seen the movie), I would suggest it means to increase the productivity or profit on the deal.

    "Heading south" may also mean to go down in value.
