    ambiguity

    1-A police officer might know the answer to that question.

    Can't this sentence mean three things:
    a-Maybe all police officers know the answer to that question.
    b-Any police officer might know the answer to that question.
    c-Maybe there is one police officer who knows the answer to that question.
    (A police officer might know the answer to that question. The one who was here last night)
