Jay is spending a week in New York so he will have time to attend a concert.
Draw two base lines and connect them by a vertical broken line. The upper has the first clause resting on it. The lower, the second clause.
Upper line: JAy = S; is resting =V; Od = a week; in NY = pp, adverb, slanted line extending to bottom right
lower line: he = S; will have = S; time = Od; to attend the concert = inf phrase acting adverbially (provides purpose)
Or the inf clause = adj clause describing 'time'. Good judgement call. On second thought, that is more like it.
